Research Funded by the URC Grant Program to Be Presented at International Conference

In Fall 2015, Dr. Hessam Ghamari, Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Design received a University Research Council (URC) grant. The URC grant program is an internal grant program supported by the University Research Council here at Appalachian which is designed to support a wide range of research and creative endeavors across campus.

Dr. Ghamari's project titled "Examining Eye Fixation During Wayfinding in Unfamiliar Healthcare Environments" took place over the past semesters and now he and his students (Elise Curti, Madeline McKenzie, and Sarah Dickert) will be presenting the findings at the Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA) Conference next week in Raleigh, NC. Congratulations and best wishes to Dr. Ghamari and his research team!
